So sick and tired of military or their spouses saying how much they hate the military and how unjust they are. I’m sorry but if you really thought it was going to be an easy job or an easy life,that’s pretty naive and dense.Bitching about your husband not coming home for dinner or god forbid he has to stay over for something, or yes that one guy in the unit screwed up and now all the guys are in trouble,sorry but that is the military way, something I’m pretty sure they learned in boot camp. 

I feel like people are losing their patriotism nowadays, or don’t understand the honor in it, and if they understand the honor they use it for their own ego or title that they  may have earned but all the while again bitching how unjust their military life is. I don’t think people realize how EASY we have it now. I mean come on it’s the MILITARY, you signed a contract. Wanted an “easy” life should have stayed a civilian. And I don’t know bout ya’ll but my husband did construction and where we’re from it’s not a booming business nor are the benefits that great. Which is why he chose to join the Army.

I don’t know just majorly disappointed in people. And it probably doesn’t help that I was raised military, my mom,dad,stepdad,brothers,sister in law,aunt,uncles,grandparents all served or still currently are. And all were very proud to join,my parents say that was some of the best years of their life. And I’m so proud of them, and I can’t bring it in me to slander something they felt honored to do. Or complain that my husband missed a meal or that the Army ruined vacation plans or something, I mean heck my own husband doesn’t complain, his attitude and mine is, it is what it is. Just wished more peeps got that concept……

Today my parents are coming in from AR,and we will have  my stepson here too and we’re gonna FINALLY decorate the tree.I’ve been in a baking mood and have made cookies,made salt dough ornaments,have been super busy but I’ve been loving it.
